Why do I need SPF, DKIM and DMARC?

SPF, DKIM and DMARC are tools to proctect your domain from being ubused by unauthorized senders. This is often called Email Spoofing. The attacker claims to be you by putting your sender address in the email header.

To protect you against Email Spoofing you use SPF, DKIM and DMARC to allow the receiving email system to verify the legitimity of the sender. But be careful: It is not enough to just have an SPF and DKIM record in place. You have to make sure to have the right configuration and rejection rules in place.
