Email Validation for Mailchimp

Connect CampaignKit to Mailchimp to verify contact email addresses automatically. Avoid manual data import/exports by using our built-in Mailchimp integration:

CampaignKit uses the Mailchimp Marketing API to communicate with your Mailchimp account. It's possible to connect multiple Mailchimp accounts.

CampaignKit uses tags to mark invalid and risky contacts within your audience.

• invalid: Email Address is invalid an emails will bounce
• risky: Email Address is risky and should not be used to send emails (e.g. role-based email address, spam trap, disposable email)

CampaignKit never removes or modifies data in your Mailchimp account. Validation results are stored as tags, which can be used to filter your contacts.

Simple Setup Process

It takes a few simple steps to get started. In CampaignKit, navigate to New Integration and select Mailchimp.

CampaignKit starts the authorization flow. You'll be redirected to Mailchimp's login screen, where you login to your Mailchimp account. Type your Mailchimp username and password and click login to proceeed to the next step.

Mailchimp now shows you a consent screen, so you can review and accept the connection. Click Allow to give the CampaignKit App access to your Mailchimp account.

Your accounts are now connected. To bulk validate your existing contacts use the CampaignKit App to start the bulk validation process.

Navigate to Integrations using the left menu and click edit on your newly created Mailchimp integration. On the right bottom click validate to start the validation process.

That's all! CampaignKit now uses the Mailchimp API to retrieve your contact email addresses, runs the email verification process. Contacts with invalid or risky email addresses will be marked with a tag in Mailchimp.

Using the tags, you can filter your contact list to unsubscribe or remove those contacts.
