If you're looking for a Clearout alternative mainly to verify lists, CampaignKit works on the same model: prepaid credits that never expire. As of October 2026, our 10,000-credit pack costs $15 against $65 for Clearout's one-time 10,000 pack. You get 200 free credits instead of 100, there's no subscription, and our free web verifier needs no signup. We're biased, since CampaignKit is our product, so every number below is dated and linked so you can check it.
Clearout is the better fit if you use its prospecting tools, its LinkedIn Chrome extension or its finder by LinkedIn profile, or if your procurement team needs a vendor that lists ISO and SOC 2 Type II certification. This page covers both sides, plus a few other Clearout alternatives.
Clearout is a mature tool with more than a verifier in one account. From Clearout's own pages (checked 2026-10-07):
Most of the reasons are about fit and price, not about the product failing.
Price per 1,000 on smaller packs. As of October 2026, Clearout's one-time packs start at 5,000 credits for $40 ($8.00 per 1,000), and 10,000 credits cost $65 ($6.50 per 1,000). If you clean a few thousand addresses a couple of times a year, that rate matters more than the large-volume tiers.
A smaller free allowance. Clearout gives 100 free credits. If you want to test on a bigger sample first, that runs out fast.
You only need verification. Clearout's prospecting suite is a strength, but if you never use it, you're choosing a tool partly for features you don't need.
Refund terms. Clearout's pricing guide says refunds apply within 30 days of purchase, only for the impacted addresses, and that subscriptions aren't refundable. Some buyers prefer a plain money-back guarantee.
Clearout's free option isn't a time-limited trial. Its Freemium plan gives you 100 credits "for Lifetime (One Time, No Expiry)", $0, with no credit card required (Clearout pricing, as of October 2026). Its pricing guide says the free credits are valid on any service.
CampaignKit's free options:
What the free credits get you:
| Clearout (100 credits) | CampaignKit (200 credits) | |
|---|---|---|
| Verifications | 100 | 200 |
| Found emails | 25 non-role (4 credits each) or 50 role-based (2 credits each) | 40 (5 credits each) |
So if you want to test on your own list before paying, you can check twice as many addresses with CampaignKit's free credits, and a handful more with the no-signup tools.
Both sell one-time packs of credits that never expire, so the comparison is fairly direct. Clearout's prices below are as of October 2026, from its pricing page, where each pack is marked "onwards". Ours are from our pricing page.
| Pack size | CampaignKit | Clearout (one-time) |
|---|---|---|
| 2,500 | $6 ($2.40 per 1,000) | no pack this size |
| 5,000 | $12 ($2.40 per 1,000) | $40 ($8.00 per 1,000) |
| 10,000 | $15 ($1.50 per 1,000) | $65 ($6.50 per 1,000) |
| 100,000 | $120 ($1.20 per 1,000) | $400 ($4.00 per 1,000) |
| 250,000 and up | custom quote | $750 (250,000) up to $10,000 (10 million) |
Clearout also sells subscriptions, as of October 2026: Starter at $23 a month for 3,000 credits and Pro 10K at $58 a month for 10,000 credits, with unused credits rolling over and annual billing discounted further. CampaignKit has no subscription.
One caveat: Clearout's pricing guide says credits bought at a discount may come with an expiry date, so check the terms of any deal you're offered.

Clearout details as of October 2026, from its pricing page, pricing guide and email finder page, checked 2026-10-07. CampaignKit details from our pricing page, email finder and security page.
Clearout's finder costs 4 credits per non-role address and 2 per role-based one, and "no email found" isn't charged. You can search by name, company or LinkedIn decision maker, upload a CSV or XLSX of names and domains, use the API, or work from the "Prospect" Chrome extension on LinkedIn (Clearout email finder, checked 2026-10-07).
CampaignKit's email finder takes a name and a company domain, shows an address once a live mailbox check confirms it, and costs 5 credits per found address. Nothing is charged when no address is found. Bulk lookups take a CSV or Excel file up to 20MB, and there's an Email Finder API. On catch-all domains, which accept mail for any address, it returns no address; our guide to catch-all emails explains why.
The cost per find is indicative, not like-for-like, because a credit costs a different amount on each side. Using the 10,000-credit packs, as of October 2026:
If you search by LinkedIn profile or prospect inside LinkedIn, Clearout does things our finder doesn't.
If neither of us fits, these are worth a look:
If the results don't tell you anything new, you've lost ten minutes and no money.
