email validationZeroBounce vs NeverBounce: Pricing, Credit Expiry and Features Compared (2026)

ZeroBounce vs NeverBounce comes down to price against extras. NeverBounce vs ZeroBounce in one line each: NeverBounce is cheaper per 1,000 at every pay-as-you-go size where both publish a price (5,000 to 1,000,000), and its monthly plan starts lower. ZeroBounce has a monthly free plan, a wider set of bundled tools, and credits that don't expire while you subscribe.

So pick by how often you clean lists and whether you'd use the extra tools. All prices below are list prices as of October 2026, taken from NeverBounce's pricing page (checked 2026-10-06) and ZeroBounce's pricing page (calculator tiers checked 2026-10-04). Price per 1,000

Here's what each vendor charges for the same pay-as-you-go volume. Both sell one-off credit packs; the rate falls as the pack gets bigger.

Credits NeverBounce NeverBounce per 1,000 ZeroBounce ZeroBounce per 1,000
5,000 $40 $8.00 $69 $13.80
10,000 $50 $5.00 $129 $12.90
25,000 $125 $5.00 $274 $10.96

100,000 $400 $4.00 $649 $6.49
1,000,000 $2,500 $2.50 $3,199 $3.20

As of October 2026. NeverBounce from the volume selector on its pricing page (checked 2026-10-06); ZeroBounce from the calculator on its pricing page (checked 2026-10-04).

So on pay-as-you-go, NeverBounce is the cheaper of the two at every size in the table. The smallest packs differ: NeverBounce sells 1,000 credits for $8, while ZeroBounce's minimum is 2,000 credits for $39.

At the top end, NeverBounce lists prices up to 2,000,000 credits ($4,000) and ZeroBounce up to 1,000,000. Above that, both ask you to contact them. Every tier is in our NeverBounce pricing breakdown and our ZeroBounce pricing breakdown.

Monthly plans

Both vendors also sell a subscription, and they're built differently.

NeverBounce Growth ZeroBounce ONE
Entry price $49/month for up to 10,000 emails $99/month, minimum 10,000 credits
Next tier $99/month for up to 50,000 emails Not stated

Billing options Not stated Monthly, or 20% off with annual billing
Unused credits Not stated on the pricing page Roll over each month
Included Email verification Validation credits plus other ZeroBounce tools

NeverBounce Growth $49 tier checked 2026-10-06, $99 tier checked 2026-10-03, on NeverBounce's pricing page. ZeroBounce ONE from ZeroBounce's pricing page, checked 2026-10-06.

On price per validation, Growth is the cheaper plan. ONE isn't a like-for-like comparison, though: ZeroBounce says a subscription can "save up to 18%", unused credits roll over, and the plan bundles tools such as inbox placement testing and blacklist monitoring. If you'd use those tools, part of the $99 pays for them rather than for verification.

Credit expiry

This is where the two differ most, and where many older guides are out of date.

NeverBounce: the pricing page says, under pay-as-you-go, "Credits expire 12 months after purchase." (checked 2026-10-06).

ZeroBounce: the pricing page says "Credits never expire while you have an active ZeroBounce One subscription." Without one, "expiration rules may apply depending on when your account was created, or when the credits were purchased, granted, or received as part of a promotional campaign." ZeroBounce's FAQ on credit expiry spells out the rules (checked 2026-10-06):

  • Accounts created on or before June 1, 2026: credits never expire.
  • Accounts created after June 1, 2026: purchased credits expire two years after your most recent credit purchase. Each new purchase resets the two-year period.
  • With an active ZeroBounce ONE subscription: credits don't expire. After the subscription ends, unused credits on post-June-2026 accounts stay valid for two years from the last day of the subscription period.
  • Promotional credits follow the same policy.

Here's what that means in practice. Say you buy 10,000 credits before a spring campaign and use 4,000. On NeverBounce, if your next clean is more than a year after the purchase, the other 6,000 may lapse. On a ZeroBounce account opened after June 1, 2026, without a subscription, they last two years from that purchase, or longer if you buy again in between.

You'll still find comparisons that say ZeroBounce credits simply never expire. That's true for older accounts and while ONE is active, so check which rule applies to your account before you plan around leftover credits.

Free credits

ZeroBounce has a free plan that gives you 100 validation credits a month. It requires signing up "with a business/premium domain" (checked 2026-10-06), so free-mail addresses may not qualify.

NeverBounce offers a free start rather than a free plan: "Get started for free. No credit card required to verify your first email list", with "free list analysis and free test credits" (checked 2026-10-06). It doesn't publish how many test credits you get.

If you want a small check every month for free, ZeroBounce's plan is the one that does that.

Features and integrations

We've only listed what each vendor states on its own pages. Where a page doesn't mention something, the table says "not stated", which doesn't mean the vendor lacks it.

If you want one tool for verification plus finding and inbox testing, ZeroBounce covers more of that on its own pages. If you mostly need verification wired into an existing stack, NeverBounce names its integrations and lists more than 80.

What about accuracy?

ZeroBounce's pricing page states "99.6% email validation accuracy guaranteed". That's a vendor-reported figure. We found no accuracy figure from NeverBounce on a page we could read, and no independent head-to-head test we could cite.

Many of the pages that rank for this comparison are written by vendors, including ZeroBounce itself and several companies selling a third tool, and some quote benchmark numbers without a source. Two vendor numbers aren't a benchmark, so we haven't repeated them. The fairest test is your own data: run the same sample list through both free offers and compare the results.

When ZeroBounce is the better pick

  • You want more than verification. AI scoring, an email finder, inbox placement testing and blacklist monitoring are on its pricing page.
  • You want a free monthly allowance. 100 validations a month with a business domain.
  • You don't want credits to run out. They don't expire while ONE is active, and accounts created on or before June 1, 2026 keep them indefinitely. Newer accounts still get two years from the last purchase, longer than NeverBounce's 12 months.
  • You get a lot of unknown results. ZeroBounce doesn't charge for them.

When NeverBounce is the better pick

  • You care most about price per validation. It's cheaper at every pay-as-you-go size where both publish a price, and Growth starts at $49/month against $99 for ONE.
  • You clean small lists. The smallest pack is 1,000 credits for $8.
  • Your workflows run through Zapier, n8n, HubSpot or Mailchimp. NeverBounce names them and lists 80+ integrations.
  • You're already in the ZoomInfo stack. NeverBounce is part of ZoomInfo.
  • You verify very large lists one-off. Published pay-as-you-go prices go up to 2,000,000 credits.

Where CampaignKit fits

If you clean lists now and then and neither subscription fits, CampaignKit is a third option. We sell pay-as-you-go credit packs only, from 2,500 for $6 up to 100,000 for $120, with no subscription. Credits never expire, every new account gets 200 free validations with no credit card, and there's a 30-day money-back guarantee. Above 100,000 we quote custom pricing, so we don't claim to beat either vendor at that size, or to match what ZeroBounce ONE bundles.

The full tier list is on our pricing page. We compare ourselves with each vendor in more depth in our NeverBounce alternative guide and our ZeroBounce alternative guide. If you're shortlisting more than two tools, our roundup of the best email verification tools lists nine side by side, and we've also written up MillionVerifier alternatives.
