Which model fits depends mostly on expiry. Credits never expire while a ZeroBounce ONE subscription is active; without one, expiration rules may apply. ZeroBounce sets PAYG prices in a calculator on its pricing page rather than a printed table. We stepped through every option on the slider; here's what it showed, with the per-credit price turned into a cost per 1,000.

As of October 2026, from the PAYG calculator on ZeroBounce's pricing page (checked 2026-10-04). Above 1,000,000 credits, ZeroBounce asks you to contact it for enterprise pricing.

The smallest pack is 2,000 credits; the page calls $39 "our minimum purchase". The $19.50 per 1,000 rate applies to that pack only. The rate falls with volume, to $6.49 per 1,000 at 100,000 credits, which cost only $150 more than 50,000.

How credits are used, per the pricing page:

• 1 credit per address validated, and 1 per address scored with ZeroBounce's AI scoring.
• Unknown results and duplicate removal are free.
• Email Finder uses 20 credits per successful query.

On ZeroBounce API pricing: we found no separate API fee. Validations through the API draw on the same credits, 1 per address.

ZeroBounce ONE subscribers get 15% off PAYG credits, per the PAYG tab ("Get 15% off with a ZeroBounce One™ Subscription"). The discount isn't offered on standalone PAYG, so the table above shows list prices.

A note on sources: some guides that rank for this query, such as BounceZero's, describe a 10,000-credit minimum. ZeroBounce's page shows "Minimum 2,000 credits" on the PAYG tab and "Minimum 10,000 credits" on ZeroBounce ONE, so check which plan a guide is describing. BounceZero, LeadHaste and SyncGTM all sell competing or adjacent products (checked 2026-10-04); we went by ZeroBounce's own page.

ZeroBounce ONE (monthly)

ZeroBounce ONE is the subscription. It starts at $99/month with a minimum of 10,000 credits, and the page offers 20% off with annual billing (it doesn't list the annual figure). Larger credit volumes are priced in the same calculator; we didn't record those tiers, so check them on the page.

If you use all 10,000 credits, $99 works out to $9.90 per 1,000, against $12.90 per 1,000 for a 10,000 PAYG pack. ZeroBounce's FAQ says "a subscription can save you up to 18% every month. Also, unused credits roll over each month. You can cancel your subscription anytime." (checked 2026-10-04).

The subscription also bundles other ZeroBounce tools, such as inbox placement testing and blacklist monitoring. That makes it hard to compare on price per validation alone; if you'd use those tools, the $99 covers more than verification.

When credits expire

ZeroBounce's pricing page puts it this way: "Credits never expire while you have an active ZeroBounce One subscription." Without one, "expiration rules may apply depending on when your account was created." The FAQ adds that the rules may also depend on when the credits were purchased, granted, or received as part of a promotional campaign (checked 2026-10-04).

Here's what that means in practice. Say you buy 10,000 PAYG credits for $129 before a spring campaign, use 4,000 and don't subscribe. If your next clean is many months later, the other 6,000 may lapse, depending on which rules apply to your account. The page doesn't give a fixed period, so check your account before you plan around leftover credits.

You'll find guides that simply say ZeroBounce credits never expire. The pricing page ties that to an active ZeroBounce ONE subscription, so go by the page.

CampaignKit credits never expire, and there's no subscription to keep active.

Free credits

ZeroBounce has a free plan: "Get 100 free monthly email verifications when you sign up with a business/premium domain." The credits refill every month (checked 2026-10-04). Per the pricing page, the free plan is tied to a business or premium domain, so signing up with a free-mail address may not qualify.

CampaignKit gives every new account 200 free validations once, no credit card required. If you only need a small check every month, ZeroBounce's monthly refill can add up to more over time.

The first row compares packs of different sizes: ZeroBounce's smallest is 2,000 credits and ours is 2,500. If you clean 10,000 addresses once, it's $129 (ZeroBounce PAYG) against $15 (CampaignKit). If you clean 10,000 every month, it's $99 a month on ZeroBounce ONE against $15 a month in CampaignKit credits at list price, though ONE includes tools beyond validation.

When ZeroBounce is the right call

ZeroBounce is a reasonable choice in several situations, and in some of them it's the better one.

• You want more than validation. ZeroBounce's pricing page lists inbox placement testing, blacklist monitoring, an email finder and AI scoring. If you'd pay for those separately, ZeroBounce ONE bundles them.
• You want a fixed monthly bill. CampaignKit is PAYG only. If your finance team prefers a subscription line, ZeroBounce ONE gives you that, and your credits don't expire while it's active.
• You verify very large volumes. ZeroBounce's PAYG rate falls to $3.20 per 1,000 at 1,000,000 credits. Above 100,000 we quote custom pricing, so we don't claim our list prices beat ZeroBounce at that size.
• Your team already works in ZeroBounce. If your integrations and processes run through it today, switching means rebuilding them.
