The Best NeverBounce Alternative in 2026

email validationThe Best NeverBounce Alternative in 2026

If you're looking for a NeverBounce alternative, CampaignKit is the one we'd suggest you test first. We're biased, since it's our product, so this page shows the numbers and lets you check them. At the volumes most teams buy (2,500 to 100,000 addresses), CampaignKit costs less per 1,000, its credits never expire, and every address gets a 0–10 score instead of a single bucket.

NeverBounce is still a good product, and for some teams it's the better choice. There's a section below on when you should stay, and a short list of other NeverBounce alternatives if neither of us fits.

What NeverBounce does well

Credit where it's due: here's what NeverBounce gets right.

You can choose how to pay. NeverBounce sells pay-as-you-go (PAYG) credits, and it also has a Growth monthly plan: $49/month for up to 10,000 emails, as of October 2026 (NeverBounce pricing, checked 2026-10-03), scaling to $999/month at 1,000,000 according to Mailfloss's NeverBounce pricing breakdown (checked 2026-10-03). If you verify every month, a plan can be simpler to budget than topping up credits.

You can test before you pay. New accounts get free test credits, and you don't need a card for your first list. NeverBounce no longer publishes how many free credits you get, so check at signup.

It connects to common CRM and email tools. NeverBounce connects to Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, Pipedrive, AWeber, VanillaSoft and others through its Zapier app (NeverBounce on Zapier). NeverBounce was acquired in September 2018 by DiscoverOrg, now ZoomInfo, and operates as "a ZoomInfo company" (ZoomInfo acquisitions page). That matters if your sales data already lives in the ZoomInfo ecosystem.

It names catch-all addresses. NeverBounce has its own result for catch-all (it calls them "accept-all") addresses, so they don't get mixed in with valid or invalid ones.

So why do people go looking for something else?

Why people look for a NeverBounce alternative

Catch-all results are a flag, not an answer

A catch-all domain accepts mail for any address, real or not. The server says yes to everything, so no verification tool can confirm that a specific mailbox behind it exists. That's true for NeverBounce, for CampaignKit and for every other provider. What differs is what you get back.

Illustration of a catch-all domain accepting every incoming address without confirming which mailboxes are real

NeverBounce sorts each address into one of five results: valid, invalid, disposable, catchall (accept-all) or unknown. There's no per-address score within those results. For catch-all addresses, NeverBounce's own guidance, as summarized by Scrubby, is to expect roughly half your list's invalid rate to apply to them too. So if 10% of your list comes back invalid, around 5% of your accept-all addresses may bounce, and the result doesn't tell you which ones.

That's the "neverbounce catch-all" problem in practice: you get a flag, and then you have to decide whether to send to the whole group, suppress the whole group, or find another way to split it. The more catch-all domains your list contains, the bigger that decision gets. Our guide on what catch-all emails are and whether to send to them covers the options in more detail.

PAYG pricing climbs fast

As of October 2026, NeverBounce's PAYG rate is $8.00 per 1,000 for 1,000 and 5,000 credits, $5.00 per 1,000 from 10,000 to 50,000, and $4.00 per 1,000 at 100,000. The rate slides to $3 per 1,000 at 250,000 and 500,000, $2.50 at 1,000,000 and $2 at 2,000,000 (NeverBounce pricing, checked 2026-10-03). We've put NeverBounce's full tier table, including the Growth plan, on a separate page.

CampaignKit starts at $2.40 per 1,000 ($6 for 2,500) and drops to $1.20 per 1,000 at 100,000 ($120). The full comparison is in the table below.

Credits expire after 12 months

NeverBounce PAYG credits expire 12 months after purchase; its pricing page states this under the PAYG option (checked 2026-10-03).

If you verify every week, you'll use your credits well within a year and this won't matter. If you clean your list once or twice a year, it's a real cost: buy 10,000 credits, use 4,000 before a campaign, and the other 6,000 may be gone before the next one. CampaignKit credits never expire.

Support response times vary

User reviews report slow replies on some issues, with waits of 24 to 48 hours (Mailfloss's NeverBounce review and Truelist, checked 2026-09-26). Both of those sites sell competing products, so weigh them accordingly. We're reporting what reviewers say, not our own experience with NeverBounce support.

A 1,000-credit minimum and an unpublished free-credit count

The smallest PAYG purchase is 1,000 credits (Mailfloss's NeverBounce review). That's a low bar, but at $8 per 1,000 it's still more per address than a larger CampaignKit pack.

If you're asking "is there a NeverBounce free trial?": yes, in the form of free test credits with no card needed for your first list. The exact number isn't published, so you won't know how large a sample you can test until you sign up. CampaignKit gives every new account 200 free validations, no credit card.

CampaignKit vs NeverBounce: side by side

Price first. These are list prices for PAYG packs at the volumes both of us sell.

Volume CampaignKit NeverBounce PAYG
5,000 $12 ($2.40 / 1,000) $40 ($8.00 / 1,000)
10,000 $15 ($1.50 / 1,000) $50 ($5.00 / 1,000)
25,000 $38 ($1.52 / 1,000) $125 ($5.00 / 1,000)
50,000 $75 ($1.50 / 1,000) $250 ($5.00 / 1,000)
100,000 $120 ($1.20 / 1,000) $400 ($4.00 / 1,000)
250,000 to 2,000,000 custom quote $3 down to $2 / 1,000 (sliding)

NeverBounce prices as of October 2026, from NeverBounce's pricing page (checked 2026-10-03). NeverBounce has no 2,500 pack (its smallest is 1,000 credits for $8), and our smallest is 2,500 for $6, so that row is left out. CampaignKit prices from our pricing page.

If you verify every month, NeverBounce's Growth plan ($49/month for up to 10,000 emails, as of October 2026) is the fairer comparison at 10,000. That's $49 a month against $15 of CampaignKit credits that don't expire.

Where CampaignKit is the better fit

You buy fewer than roughly 250,000 credits at a time

That covers most marketing and sales teams. At every volume up to 100,000 where both of us sell a pack, CampaignKit's list price is lower, and our credits don't expire. Above 100,000, we quote individually; NeverBounce's next pack is 250,000 at $3 per 1,000. From there, NeverBounce's sliding scale continues, and the comparison depends on the quote you get from us.

You want a ranked result for catch-all addresses

Every CampaignKit result carries a score from 0 (will bounce) to 10 (passed all checks), plus a description such as catchAll, disposable or mailbox that explains it. Instead of one accept-all group, you get a list you can sort and cut at your own threshold, depending on how much bounce risk your sender reputation can take.

That doesn't make catch-all addresses certain. No tool can confirm a mailbox behind a catch-all domain. But a score gives you a way to decide which part of that group to send to.

You want validation and email finding on one credit pool

The CampaignKit Email Finder finds professional addresses from a name and a company domain, using the same credits as validation. It costs 5 credits per successful match and nothing when no address is found. If you're comparing finders, see how it stacks up in our Hunter.io alternative comparison. To work out an address by hand, see our guide to how company email formats work.

You build on the API or with AI tools

The REST API (https://api.campaignkit.cc/v1, Bearer token auth) is on every plan. For no-code workflows there are Zapier, n8n, HubSpot, Mailchimp and Mailjet integrations. CampaignKit also has an MCP (Model Context Protocol) endpoint, so Claude and other AI clients can validate addresses and run jobs as tools. The developer docs cover both.

Your DPO asks where the data is processed

CampaignKit processing runs on Hetzner servers in Germany. Our data processing agreement also allows temporary transfers to US-based infrastructure, covered by Standard Contractual Clauses, so we don't describe it as EU-only. Validation logs are kept for 90 days, as stated on our security page. The sources we checked for NeverBounce didn't state a processing location, so ask them directly if it matters to you.

This is general information, not legal advice. Your data protection officer decides what your GDPR obligations require.

When you should stay on NeverBounce

These cases are real, and in them NeverBounce may well be the better choice.

Your data already lives in the ZoomInfo stack. NeverBounce is a ZoomInfo company. If your team already buys its sales data from ZoomInfo and wants verification from the same vendor, adding a second supplier is extra work.

Your workflows already run through NeverBounce's Zapier app. If you have Zaps that send contacts from ActiveCampaign, Pipedrive or AWeber through NeverBounce, switching means rebuilding each one. CampaignKit works with Zapier, n8n, HubSpot, Mailchimp and Mailjet, so the bridge exists, but you still have to set it up. If those workflows run fine today, that's a fair reason to stay.

You verify millions of addresses a month. From 250,000 credits, NeverBounce's sliding scale runs from $3 down to $2 per 1,000. We quote custom pricing above 100,000, so ask us for a number, but we won't claim our list prices beat NeverBounce at that volume.

You want a monthly plan rather than credits. CampaignKit is PAYG only. If your finance team prefers a fixed monthly line, NeverBounce's Growth plan fits that.

If none of these describe you, the price and scoring arguments above apply.

Other NeverBounce alternatives worth comparing

We'd rather you choose with the full picture. Prices below are as of September 2026, checked 2026-09-24 for our roundup of the best email verification tools.

  • Bouncer: from $8 per 1,000, down to $2 per 1,000 at 1 million, and credits never expire (Bouncer pricing). A strong choice for very large one-off cleans.
  • ZeroBounce: from $39 for 2,000 validations, with 100 free credits a month if you sign up with a business domain (ZeroBounce pricing). We compare it in detail in our ZeroBounce alternative guide, and list every tier in our ZeroBounce pricing breakdown.
  • Kickbox: $10 for 1,000, down to about $3 per 1,000 at 1 million, and unknown results are refunded (Kickbox pricing). Good if you don't want to pay for addresses that can't be resolved.
  • Emailable: $7.60 per 1,000 PAYG, with 250 free credits and credits that never expire (Emailable pricing). The largest free allowance of the tools we compared.
  • MillionVerifier: $89 for 50,000 credits that never expire (MillionVerifier). See our MillionVerifier alternative comparison for how it stacks up against CampaignKit.

How to switch in 15 minutes

Don't take the comparison on faith. Run the same list through both and compare.

  1. Export your list from NeverBounce as a CSV, or use your original source file.
  2. Sign up for CampaignKit. You get 200 free validations, no credit card.
  3. Upload the same file you last ran through NeverBounce.
  4. Compare the results side by side. Focus on the addresses NeverBounce returned as catchall or unknown, and look at the score CampaignKit gave each one. Does the ranking match what you know about those contacts?
  5. Swap the API key in your integration, or point your Zapier or n8n step at CampaignKit.

Step 4 decides it. If the scores don't tell you anything new about your catch-all addresses, you've spent 15 minutes and no money.

Frequently asked questions

Is NeverBounce free? Not for ongoing use. NeverBounce gives new accounts free test credits, with no card needed for your first list, but it doesn't publish how many. After that, you buy PAYG credits (from $8 per 1,000 as of October 2026) or a Growth plan (from $49/month).

Do NeverBounce credits expire? Yes. NeverBounce PAYG credits expire 12 months after purchase. CampaignKit credits never expire.

How does NeverBounce handle catch-all emails? It returns them as "catchall" (also called accept-all), one of five results alongside valid, invalid, disposable and unknown. There's no score within that result. NeverBounce's guidance, as summarized by Scrubby, is to expect roughly half your list's invalid rate to apply to accept-all addresses too.

Who owns NeverBounce? ZoomInfo. NeverBounce was acquired by DiscoverOrg, now ZoomInfo, in September 2018 and operates as "a ZoomInfo company."

Is CampaignKit cheaper than NeverBounce? At list prices from 5,000 to 100,000 addresses, yes. For example, 10,000 credits cost $15 with CampaignKit and $50 at NeverBounce's PAYG rate (as of October 2026). Above 100,000 we quote individually, and at seven-figure volumes NeverBounce's $2–3 per 1,000 sliding scale may come out lower.
