Kickbox pricing is pay as you go: you buy a pack of verification credits, with 100 free verifications to start. Packs run from $5 for 500 and $10 for 1,000 down to $2,999 for 1,000,000, which is about $3 per 1,000. These are the prices on Kickbox's pricing page as of October 2026 (checked 2026-10-11).

Two rules matter as much as the price. Kickbox doesn't charge for unknown results, and purchased credits are valid for one year. Above 1 million, Kickbox's page says: "Talk to us for custom pricing or volume discounts." There's no monthly plan or auto-recharge on the pricing page. Kickbox's help article on how cost is calculated says "there's no monthly commitment or annual contract required" (checked 2026-10-11).

Kickbox also offers discounts. Nonprofits get a "lifetime 15% discount" with 501(c)(3) documentation, and high-volume senders, ESP partners and startups can ask for one, per its discounts article (checked 2026-10-11).

What a verification costs

One credit verifies one address. In Kickbox's words, "100 email verification credits allows you to verify 100 email addresses" (what are email verification credits, checked 2026-10-11).

So the per-1,000 column above is also the cost of verifying 1,000 addresses:

• Up to 2,500 credits: $10 per 1,000, or $0.01 per address.
• 5,000 credits: $8 per 1,000.
• 10,000 credits: $7 per 1,000.
• 100,000 credits: $5 per 1,000.
• 1,000,000 credits: $2,999, about $3 per 1,000, or $0.003 per address.

These figures assume you use every credit within its year. If you buy 10,000 and verify 5,000, each verification costs twice as much. Credits refunded for unknown results (below) aren't lost, since you can use them again.

What Kickbox charges for

Kickbox charges one credit per address it verifies, with one exception. Its pricing page says: "Unknown Verification Results Are Free. If we can't provide a definitive result to you, we'll refund the credit. Re-verify the same email address later or use the credit towards another one." (checked 2026-10-11).

Its help article on unknown results says the same: "Kickbox does not charge you for Unknown verification results", and the credit goes back to your balance.

On Kickbox API pricing: there's no separate API price. The same credits cover "email list, realtime API, batch API, and our ESP integrations", per Kickbox's credits FAQ (checked 2026-10-11).

Free verifications

Kickbox's pricing page lists 100 verifications for free as its smallest tier (checked 2026-10-11). That's enough to test it on a small sample before you buy a pack.

Credit expiry

Yes, Kickbox credits expire. Its credits FAQ says "you have one year to use the purchased credits" (checked 2026-10-11). The pricing page itself doesn't mention expiry.

Credits aren't tied to one list. You can split a pack across lists, the API and integrations, as long as you use it within the year.

So buy what you'll verify in the next 12 months, not what the biggest pack would save you per address. CampaignKit credits never expire.

Kickbox fits many teams well:

• You don't want to pay for unknowns. Unknown results are refunded to your balance.
• You want packs, not a plan. There's no monthly commitment or contract.
